• 40 years and older
• History of smoking-current or former
• Have had bronchitis or lung infection in the last year
• On current therapy daily for COPD

• 18-80
• 24 weeks with 28 week open label extension
• have had a cough that is unexplained and you have seen doctors for it

• Ages 50-80
• > 20 pack years smoking
• current smoker or quit within last 15 years

• APOL-1 genotype-we test you for this
• ages 10-65
• No diabetes patients allowed
• cant have underlying cause of kidney disease
